Financial Analyst

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support a client at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial management support services to NUWCDIVNPT.
  • Track cumulative monthly/yearly expenditures charged to various NUWCDIVNPT projects.
  • Maintain quality assurance; ensure that appropriate financial entries have been made for Government/contractor costs.
  • Monitor the status of incoming and outgoing funding documents.
  • Utilize the Navy – Enterprise Resource Planning (N–ERP) system to monitor project finances; research and assign N–ERP Network Activity (NWA) numbers, as required.

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Ranges, Engineering and Analysis Department, Prototyping and Development Division, and Industrial Services Enterprise (ISE).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to setup, operate, and perform required periodic maintenance of HAAS Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers; specifically, HAAS VF-3/VF-5/VF-7 and HS-6.
  • Must be experienced in analyzing and editing G Code programs and canned cycles.
  • Must collaborate with and take direction from SRM Program Manager, as well as Engineering and Technical Lead personnel and promote a “team player” work environment.
  • Must accurately assess assigned tasks and provide feedback to Technical Leads when necessary.
  • Must perform First Piece Inspection of all assigned tasks and guarantee produced parts are in full compliance with provided engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to deburr and clean all manufactured parts using hand files, pneumatic tooling, and various abrasives.
  • Must be able to support and move large, heavy materials, such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, and various Plastics.

Material Coordinator/Inventory Specialist

SRM is currently seeking a Material Coordinator/Inventory Specialist to support the operation of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Towed Array Handling Equipment Facility (TAHEF).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for scheduled physical inventory counts and effectively organize and store items.
  • Perform material inventory functions daily. Ensure that inventory records are accurate at all times.
  • Prepare equipment and parts for turn-in or disposal.
  • Maintain and update inventory database records; make daily adjustments to computer reports; submit detailed reports on inventory levels as requested.
  • Facilitate and aid with warehouse organization, labeling items and material identification procedures.
  • Perform material identification with labeling and organizing of storage areas.
  • Analyze inventory data and manipulate inventory databases/systems.
  • Determine the most appropriate method to collect, analyze and correct inventory data.
  • Analyze inventory records and compare them to physical inventories.

Management Analyst/Administrative Assistant

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking a Management Analyst/Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations at the SRM Corporate Office. The Management Analyst will provide direct support to SRM's program managers, in addition to completing various assignments for SRM's Federal, State of Rhode Island, and commercial clients.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate progress reports for Federal, State and commercial clients.
  • Assist the SRM program management team in managing and monitoring contract funding.
  • Serve as a liaison between SRM clients and senior program managers.
  • Prepare financial projections for SRM clients, as well as for internal SRM accounting purposes.

Assistant Controller

(SRM) is a consulting firm providing technical and professional services since 1979.  Our clientele includes federal and state governments and other for-profit and non-profit organizations.  We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our business management team. The candidate will support SRM’s main office in the cost and financial accounting operations of our firm, and will also assist the Controller with various allocation and reconciliation activities on a daily basis. Hours for this position are 8:00am to 4:30pm five days per week.

  • The Assistant Controller will provide support to the Controller to effectively manage the company financial operations, and therefore must have a strong sense of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and with confidence.
  • The Assistant Controller must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field with 4 to 6 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance, preferably in a government or service contracting environment.
  • Facility with Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Experience with, and knowledge of basic financial and managerial accounting functions (i.e. Billing and Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll (ADP), Job Cost, etc.) and accounting software/financial applications is a must.
