Corporate Leadership

History History

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) was founded by Mr. Otis L. Sampson in 1978.  By 1979, only one year later, SRM reached $200,000.00 in annual sales. SRM was incorporated in the State of Rhode Island in 1980.

Initially, SRM provided support services exclusively to Federal Government customers at the Naval Underwater System Center (NUSC), the predecessor of today’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Due to the cessation of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s and early 1990s, the United States’ Defense budgets began to constrict. As a result, SRM began providing support services to State of Rhode Island and Commercial agencies, in addition to maintaining contracts with the Federal Government.

Today, SRM continues to support Federal, State and Commercial clients. After over three decades in business, SRM endeavors to continue along the path of corporate growth in the years to come.
