Job Description
Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking an individual possessing common knowledge of modern machine shop operations with experience in, or the ability to learn sandblasting, grinding, paint masking and preparing of machined parts, helicoil inserts and removal, wrap parts for shipping and more. This position supports the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. In addition, you must be capable of obtaining certifications in compliance with the Military standards as a new or existing federal employee. Hours to be worked are 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (first shift), Monday – Friday, with a possibility of over time when available.

The junior programmer utilizes algorithmic thinking to design, develop, and test Training Systems Implementation Team (TSIT) products. The selected candidate will support the testing of eLearning courses, helping to ensure that all features function correctly and perform reliably within a Learning Management System (LMS) environment. The junior programmer will primarily be responsible to conduct test requirements such as SCORM conformance, cmi5 acceptance, and HTML validation to ensure products meet all technical requirements. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War (DoW) security clearance. In addition, you must be capable of obtaining certifications in compliance with the Military standards as a new or existing federal employee. Hours to be worked are 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (first shift), Monday – Friday, with a possibility of over time when available. There are no second or third shifts options to work.
