Logistics Analyst

Job Description:

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) MILSATCOM programs supporting the Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) and Submarine Electronics Support Integration Facility (SESIF).

The Logistics Analyst will provide day-to-day product support and logistics services for technical and engineering activities. This position will support the receipt, inspection, tracking, shipment, storage, and accountability of government and program hardware. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, logisticians, government personnel, and other program stakeholders to maintain accurate asset records and ensure material is properly documented and moved throughout its lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Receive and inspect incoming MILSATCOM equipment and other program assets to verify condition, configuration, and completeness.
• Document equipment deficiencies and coordinate additional inspection or testing when required.
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation, including DD Form 1149
• Coordinate and support packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and receipt of government and program-owned equipment including CAT 3 crane and a forklift.
• Support shipments involving classified material, hazardous material, and other controlled assets in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory, configuration, and asset accountability records.
• Support inventory management, update logistics and configuration status and accounting entry data to track hardware assets, engineering changes, field changes and upgrades using Catalog, Order, Logistics, Tracking System (COLTS).
• Maintain supporting documentation for equipment receipts, shipments, repairs, inspections, and inventory actions.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure logistics records accurately reflect the current condition and configuration of program assets.
• Assist with inventory reviews, reconciliation efforts, and resolution of asset discrepancies.
• Prepare inputs for recurring program reports, including Monthly Status Reports, Request for Information (RFI) reports, repair reports, receipt inspection reports, and other logistics documentation as required.
• Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation on government information systems and shared drives.
• Perform additional logistics and program support activities as required to support NMT and SESIF operations.

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• An Active Secret security clearance
• A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience.
• OR a High School Diploma and 4 years of experience
• Experience supporting logistics, supply, inventory management, asset management, shipping/receiving, or configuration management activities.
• Experience preparing and maintaining shipping, receiving, inventory, or property accountability documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assets, records, and logistics actions simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records in a government or regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with government customers, engineers, logistics personnel, and other program stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative technical team.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical

Project Manager

Job Description:

SRM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the development of Submarine On Board Training (SOBT) Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) and Submarine Learning Channel (SubLC) video products in accordance with the applicable development guide. The project manager will own the project from task statement development to final acceptance ensuring the products behave and function properly in a Learning Management System (LMS) environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Junior Programmer TSIT

Job Description:

SRM is seeking an experienced Junior Programmer TSIT to work on-site in support of the Submarine On-Board Training (SOBT) program at the Submarine Learning Center (SLC) in Groton, CT. This position is responsible for utilizing algorithmic thinking to design, develop, and test Training Systems Implementation Team (TSIT) products. The selected candidate will support the testing of eLearning courses, helping to ensure that all features function correctly and perform reliably within a Learning Management System (LMS) environment. The junior programmer will primarily be responsible for conducting test requirements such as SCORM conformance, cmi5 acceptance, and HTML validation to ensure products meet all technical requirements. Additionally, the junior programmer will evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to improve computer-based training.

Torpedo Maintenance and Repair Technician

Location: NUWC Division Keyport, WA and NUWC Division Keyport – NBK Bangor, WA

Position Overview

We are seeking qualified Torpedo Maintenance & Repair Technicians to support Heavyweight Torpedo (HWT) and Lightweight Torpedo (LWT) maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, and testing operations at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport.

The successful candidate will perform hands-on mechanical and electro-mechanical work on underwater weapons systems and associated support equipment in accordance with established Navy procedures, technical documentation, safety requirements, and industry best practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, cleaning, adjustment, troubleshooting, and testing of Heavyweight and Lightweight Torpedoes and associated components and support equipment.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, disassembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of torpedo components.
• Disassemble, clean, repair, test, modify, protect, and reassemble mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware.
• Prepare weapons system components for storage, ranging, and Fleet issue.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and component-level deficiencies.
• Perform minor repairs of HWT and LWT hardware and accessories under the Progressive Depot Level Repair (PDLR) Program.
• Perform Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs), Retrofit Installation Documents (RIDs), and Retrofit Specifications (RSs) in support of HWT/LWT Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) operations.
• Accurately document maintenance and repair activities using both paper and electronic process-control systems.
• Utilize Navy systems including the Automated Process Control System (APCS), Heavyweight Torpedo Technical Data System (HTTDS), SWMS, Advanced Skills Management (ASM), and Total Workforce Management System (TWMS).
• Perform industrial cleaning operations, including work in designated HWT/LWT deep-sink areas while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain required training and certifications for applicable HWT and LWT work instructions and processes.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of experience performing  mechanical, electro-mechanical, industrial maintenance, weapons maintenance, or depot-level repair.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble complex mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment using established technical procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document completed work.
• Prior experience with U.S. Navy torpedoes, underwater weapons, ordnance, depot maintenance, or Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) operations.
• Familiarity with APCS, HTTDS, SWMS, ASM, or TWMS is a plus.
• Prior military or civilian experience involving HWT or LWT torpedo maintenance is highly desirable.
• Licensed and certified to operate 6,000 pound electric and diesel forklift and CAT III overhead crane.
• Ability and experience to operate pallet jack and Big Joe stand-behind pallet lift mechanism. Manual lifting up to 75 pounds may be required with this position.
• All technician positions require full medical certification including ordnance physicals and enrollment in a random drug test screening program.

Machinery Maintenance Mechanic – CNC & Industrial Equipment Maintenance

Location: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport (NUWC Keyport)

Position Overview

SRM is seeking an experienced Machinery Maintenance Mechanic with strong CNC maintenance and repair experience to support operations at NUWC Keyport.

Primary Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, perform preventative maintenance and repair CNC machines, manual machine tools, and industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and controls-related equipment problems and recommend replacement parts.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, saws, hydraulic presses, fabrication equipment, and supporting air and water systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, technical manuals, engineering specifications, and manufacturer documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic records of maintenance, repairs, adjustments, calibrations, equipment condition, and recommended corrective actions.
• Follow established Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and applicable Government safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, CNC equipment, machine tools, or electromechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and the ability to interpret drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, machine-shop, shipyard, depot, or similar environment and using electronic maintenance systems to research problems and document work.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of industrial maintenance work, including lifting approximately 40–50 pounds when required.
• U.S. citizenship required and must be able to obtain and maintain the Department of Defense security clearance required for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC programming or machining experience.
• Experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, saws and press brakes. Technical education or formal training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, machining, electrical/electronics, mechanical technology, or a related field.
• Previous Navy or DoD regulated industrial maintenance experience.

CNC Machinist – Milling

Job Description

SRM is currently seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) and its Industrial Services Enterprise (ISE). This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance. In addition, you must be capable of obtaining certifications in compliance with the Military standards as a new or existing federal employee.

Primary Responsibilities

• Must be able to set up, operate, and perform required periodic maintenance of HAAS Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers; specifically, HAAS VF-2/VF-3/VF-5/VF-7/VF-9 and HS-6.
• Must be experienced in analyzing and editing G Code programs and canned cycles. 
• Must collaborate with and take direction from SRM Program Manager, as well as Engineering and Technical Lead personnel and promote a “team player” work environment.
• Must accurately assess assigned tasks and provide feedback to Technical Leads when necessary.
• Must perform First Piece Inspection of all assigned tasks and guarantee produced parts are in full compliance with provided engineering drawings.
• Must be able to deburr and clean all manufactured parts using hand files, pneumatic tooling, and various abrasives.
• Must be able to support and move large, heavy materials, such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, Aluminum, and various Plastics.

Sheet Metal Fabrication (5+ YRS EXP REQ)

Job Description

Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Fabrication worker with 5+ years of experience in related work. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War (DoW) security clearance. In addition, you must be capable of obtaining certifications in compliance with the Military standards as a new or existing federal employee. Hours to be worked are 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (first shift), Monday – Friday, with a possibility of over time when available. There are no second or third shifts options to work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Make templates, lay-out and fabricate parts to perform a variety of sheet metal (non-HVAC) manufacturing services from customers’ blueprints, models and/or specifications to fabricate enclosures, domes, buoys, cabinets, etc.
• Perform fabrication operations on aluminum, corrosion resistant steel, galvanized and mild steel, and other material sheets and shapes.
• Perform drilling, nibbling, notching, forming, punching, and shearing.
• Perform manual bending and/or power bending to produce V-shapes, U-shapes and channel shapes.
• Roll sheet metal to achieve the specified material profile (such as cylindrical).
• Cut sheet metal using bench, level or squaring shears.
• Use manual benders or hydraulic press brakes to create seams, hems, conduits and covers.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school/vocational school diploma or GED certificate or graduate of U.S. Navy “A” school, apprentice school or technical school.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War (DoW) security clearance.
